Volunteering is worth the time and effort because it means getting to shop the great deals at Boutique For A Week first! If you are unable to work any of our classic Volunteer shifts, consider bartering for your hours. We have a variety of options that range from providing meals during volunteer shifts to passing out flyers before the sale. Read more about bartering here. We do still have shifts open during the sale so sign up if you’re able. And if you have any questions or bartering ideas, feel free to contact us.
Today on the blog we welcome back Amy from Gabriel’s Good Tidings to explain how you can benefit from volunteering at our sale. When most people think about Boutique For A Week, they begin to make a mental list of items to consign. Or, they begin to think about items they intend to purchase for their little ones. However, Boutique For A Week needs so much more than your items or your money - volunteer your time!
While Boutique For A Week provides a great opportunity to earn money for your kids’ outgrown clothing, a big pile of clothes to sell can seem overwhelming to tag. If you aren’t careful, clothes can take an unnecessarily long time..
No. Unfortunately it would be far too complicated and time consuming to do that! There are hundreds of Consignors at each sale and most sell clothes. To remove hangers at check-out and then be able to keep track of whose is whose… well, it’s just not going to happen. Remember, you will get a new hanger with each item of clothing you buy and that can help replenish your supply for next sale. Also, hangers can be found for cheap or even free.
Registration is open to Restocking Consignors for our Spring 2019 Sale. If you haven’t registered yet and feel uncertain about consigning at Boutique For A Week, this post is for you!
