Off-Hours Volunteers

FAQ Friday: Other Ways to Volunteer

Volunteering is worth the time and effort because it means getting to shop the great deals at Boutique For A Week first! If you are unable to work any of our classic Volunteer shifts, consider bartering for your hours. We have a variety of options that range from providing meals during volunteer shifts to passing out flyers before the sale. Read more about bartering here. We do still have shifts open during the sale so sign up if you’re able. And if you have any questions or bartering ideas, feel free to contact us.

Pick Up Reminders

Please review our Pick Up procedures so tomorrow runs smoothly. We do not guarantee a complete sort at the end of our sale. (It’s still our goal though!) Make sure you’re prepared for the time commitment and responsibility of finding your unsold items. Plan to spend at least 30 minutes at Pick Up. For more specific details about our procedures, read our Pick Up page. Below you will find a quick run down. Your (hopefully few) unsold items will be ready for Pick Up tomorrow (Saturday, March 9th) from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Any items not claimed by 1:00 p.m. will be donated. We cannot offer exceptions; however, you can have a friend pick up your unsold merchandise as long as you email us your Consignor number and the name of the person collecting your items. Remember that any items you tagged with white cardstock will be donated and will not be sorted. Due to safety issues, we cannot allow children on the sale’s floor at Pick Up. Please follow this procedure when you arrive to Pick Up:

FAQ: Thursday edition

Our Consignor-designated 50% off items make great deals even sweeter. The sale starts early for our Consignors and Volunteers (5:00 p.m. tonight) and is available to everyone all day tomorrow (10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.). Thursday’s early shoppers can get in line at 4:30 p.m. to begin shopping for discounted items at 5:00 p.m. So, how can you tell which one of items will be discounted at 50% off? Simple: items NOT designated for the sale will say “No Discount” on the tag. Anything else is half off! Look at the examples below for further clarification:
